Laser Cavity Detection

Our practice is unique because we are able to offer something known as laser cavity detection. Yes, it is just as cool as it sounds. Using a device called a diagnodent, we can use lasers to determine if there might be a cavity in your tooth. This easy, pain free procedure helps us to catch a cavity before it even shows up on an X-ray. This allows us to fix the issue when it is still very small with either a small filling, or if it is small enough, we might be able to heal the tooth so that it doesn’t even need a filling. Our goal is to do as little dental work as possible in your mouth and laser cavity detection helps us in that goal.
