White Fillings/Bondings
There are many reasons why a tooth may need to get a white filling or a porcelain inlay/onlay. If a tooth is broken, chipped, has a cavity or has a very old filling that is breaking down, we may recommend repairing the tooth with a new white filling or porcelain inlay/onlay. The reason is that when a tooth has any of these issues, it is likely going to get worse. It may break more, splitting the tooth in half, or it might reach the nerve which can lead to lots of pain and possibly the need for a root canal. Our goal at Park Smiles is to always do the most conservative treatment and fix things before they get too bad. If you have a situation in which we might be recommending a filling or an inlay/onlay, we are likely going to start by taking a photo of the tooth so that you can see the issue with your own eyes. Then we will talk through any options you may have so that you can decide which one is best for you. In our practice, we only use the best materials and techniques available to make sure that our dentistry is of the highest quality and lasts as long as possible.
